Whales Class
Welcome to Whales Class. We get our name from the Bible story Jonah and the Whale. It is a story of compassion and never giving up - values which are very important to our class. We encourage, respect and love sharing ideas with each other!
We are made up of Year 2, 3 & 4 children and we enjoy our calm, cosy classroom which sparks our curiosity and thirst for knowledge! There is a large creative area with art, craft and construction resources. You could even snuggle up in our brand new teepee or on our comfy sofa - a great way to support our wellbeing and mental health.

Big schools’ Birdwatch
Sheep and Whales class had a very productive afternoon preparing to take part in the RSPB’s Big Schools’ Birdwatch. New year reading adventures ahead
Whales class have enjoyed a delivery of brand new story books, as part of the ‘Adventure Reading Map’ initiative. Each child has been given a map which details different routes through story land and encourages them to take quality books home to share with their families. The tissues were ready as our wonderful children performed our Nativity – A King is Born. The children sang with such enthusiasm and learnt fantastic actions to go with each song!

Ark in the Park class trip
We had a fantastic day out on our ‘Ark in the park’ trip, as part of Norwich science week. We found out all about different animal habitats through art and drama workshops. We then had fun exploring the habitats in Chaplefield park!
