Lions Class
Welcome to Lions Class. We use our name from the Bible story of Daniel and the Lions Den, and as a class we strive to follow the bravery, hope and trust learnt from this story. We are a mixed Year 4/5/6 group and we enjoy our spacious classroom as we learn and collaborate together. Our room is well-equipped with computers, a calm reading and reflection corner and an art area for crafts and cooking. Our teacher uses a large interactive touch screen board for our learning, and in our own outdoor area we have a brand new table tennis table that we freely use at break times. And, of course, we have to squeeze in Mr Good’s guitars as well!

Maths Workshop for Year 6 Parents
Reminder for Y6 parents: Maths Workshop tomorrow in Lions class 9-10am. We shall be going through the written methods children use to solve questions.
Well done KS2 Talent Show contestants (click image for more photos)
Well done to all who took part. We could see the children had rehearsed so much – and what amazing talent they had! A special mention to Emma (1st place – ribbon dancing), Mason (2nd place – beatboxing) and Bethany, Brooke and Natalie (3rd place – dancing).

Some Year 5/6 children went to The Institute to sing to an audience of people from the village, then mingled with them and served drinks and refreshments – a lovely afternoon of community spirit at the T @ 2.
Science with Oreos
How about this… While learning about the phases of the moon, we used Oreos to simulate the apparent shapes of the moon. The children did very well not to eat them.
