Lions Class
Welcome to Lions Class. We use our name from the Bible story of Daniel and the Lions Den, and as a class we strive to follow the bravery, hope and trust learnt from this story. We are a mixed Year 4/5/6 group and we enjoy our spacious classroom as we learn and collaborate together. Our room is well-equipped with computers, a calm reading and reflection corner and an art area for crafts and cooking. Our teacher uses a large interactive touch screen board for our learning, and in our own outdoor area we have a brand new table tennis table that we freely use at break times. And, of course, we have to squeeze in Mr Good’s guitars as well!

Junk recycling needed for Lions Class
This Friday Lions Class are looking to finish off their motorised vehicles (D&T project) by adding bodywork to them. So if you have any junk recycling you’re about to throw out (margarine tubs, plastic bottles / tubs, cereal boxes, cardboard tubes etc.), could you please send it to Lions Class for Friday? Thanks!

Year 5 Maths Easter Challenge Day at Northgate
Selected Year 5 children participated in a Maths Easter Challenge Day at Northgate High School. They had a great time working together to solve problems, complete a treasure hunt and spending time in the E.L.F.

Several Year 5 and 6 children bravely played, danced and sung their hearts out at the T@2 event. Well done to all the children.

Making our own plants: Lions Class learnt about how some plants, like pelargoniums, make clones of themselves to reproduce.
KS2 Poetry Showcase – World Book Day (click for more images)
KS2 came together to perform poetry they had learnt during the week. They were all very brave and recited there chosen poem, performing it with expression and some actions to make it exciting to watch. Well done to all involved!
⭐️Planetarium⭐️
We were all lucky enough to visit the planetarium at Stibbard today, where children learnt about our solar system and constellations. We are sure this will inspire some fantastic space poetry as part of our book week activities. Many thanks to Stibbard for inviting us!
