Lions Class
Welcome to Lions Class. We use our name from the Bible story of Daniel and the Lions Den, and as a class we strive to follow the bravery, hope and trust learnt from this story. We are a mixed Year 4/5/6 group and we enjoy our spacious classroom as we learn and collaborate together. Our room is well-equipped with computers, a calm reading and reflection corner and an art area for crafts and cooking. Our teacher uses a large interactive touch screen board for our learning, and in our own outdoor area we have a brand new table tennis table that we freely use at break times. And, of course, we have to squeeze in Mr Good’s guitars as well!

The children have … Read more
Thank you, Mrs Parfitt!
This is a clip of the song Lions class sang to Mrs Parfitt in assembly. She will be sorely missed, being employed at the school for many years and making a big impact on the children.
Key Stage 2 Collective Worship
Children in Lion class and Dove class have been leading KS2 Collective Worship sessions this term and have treated us all to some fantastic presentations of their own making. Following on from last half term’s theme of ‘courage’, where children led sessions based on people (past and present) who have shown courage in adverse situations, … Read more
