The children in Lions Class paid their respects to those who have died in wars by holding a 2-minute silence. They learnt about the poem In Flanders Field and thought deeply about the meanings and imagery in this poem. We entered a competition for the RAF Museums to design our own poppy – hopefully some of ours will be chosen to go on their virtual display on their website https://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/
