Lions Class
Welcome to Lions Class. We use our name from the Bible story of Daniel and the Lions Den, and as a class we strive to follow the bravery, hope and trust learnt from this story. We are a mixed Year 4/5/6 group and we enjoy our spacious classroom as we learn and collaborate together. Our room is well-equipped with computers, a calm reading and reflection corner and an art area for crafts and cooking. Our teacher uses a large interactive touch screen board for our learning, and in our own outdoor area we have a brand new table tennis table that we freely use at break times. And, of course, we have to squeeze in Mr Good’s guitars as well!

Pine Cone Challenge
Mrs Cairns has set some Welly Day Challenges for you which you can find on this slide show. There are two activities, you can choose which one you would like to do or even try both! Have fun!
Lion Class Eye Drawings
We are well into our remote learning now and recently we followed along with our teacher and drew a detailed picture of an eye with shading and blending. We hope you like them.
Lions Class Maths
In maths we learnt practical ways to find the mean average. By doing speed stacking, coin spinning and star jumps several times, this helped us understand that we sometimes need to repeat trials to get an average score.

They learnt about the poem In Flanders Field and thought deeply about the meanings and imagery in this poem. We entered a competition for the RAF Museums to design our own poppy – hopefully some of ours … Read more
